The short version: eNDS is an emulator. It comes with no games or proprietary console BIOS or firmware, and you are responsible for supplying only content you are legally entitled to use. The app is provided as-is under the GNU General Public License v3.
eNDS is software that emulates DS hardware on iPhone and iPad, built on the melonDS emulation core. It runs game files you supply and are entitled to use. No games, proprietary console BIOS or firmware, or other third-party content are included. The core uses the open-source FreeBIOS replacement and generated firmware, so importing original BIOS files is optional.
You supply the files eNDS runs. By using the app you confirm that you have the legal right to use any game, save file or BIOS image you import, in your own jurisdiction. The rules on personal backups differ from country to country and it is your responsibility to know the ones that apply to you.
We cannot help you find, obtain or download games, and requests to do so will not be answered.
eNDS is free software released under the GNU General Public License, version 3. The full licence text is included inside the app under Settings › About › Licenses, and the source code is published at github.com/mattiaa95/eNDS. The melonDS core is © Arisotura and the melonDS team, also under GPLv3.
eNDS PRO is an optional in-app purchase that unlocks additional convenience features and supports development. Everything required to play a game is available without it. PRO is offered as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase; the current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which applies to the purchase itself. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged to your Apple Account within 24 hours before the current period ends; you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
eNDS is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as set out in the GNU General Public License v3. Emulation is imperfect: some games may run incorrectly, or not at all.
Keep your own backups of anything you care about. Save data can be lost through a crash, a failed import, a device problem, or an emulation bug, and we cannot recover it for you.
All related game console names and marks are trademarks of their respective owners. eNDS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or associated with any game console manufacturer in any way. These names are used solely to describe what the software emulates.
eNDS is likewise not affiliated with or endorsed by the melonDS team, whose work it builds upon with gratitude.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you live somewhere with mandatory consumer protections, nothing here takes them away. The software licence itself is governed by the GNU General Public License v3, which applies worldwide on its own terms.
