For the eNDS app for iPhone and iPad · Last updated 6 September 2026
The short version: eNDS collects nothing about you. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no account. The app has no server of its own, so there is nowhere for your information to be sent.
Nothing. eNDS does not collect, store or transmit personal data, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not identify you or your device.
The games you import, their save files, your save states and your settings are stored on your device only. eNDS does not upload them anywhere and has no server to upload them to. They are included in your own iCloud or computer backups exactly like any other app's files, under your control and Apple's terms, not ours.
Some DS games use the console's microphone. eNDS asks for microphone permission the first time a game actually requests it — never at launch — and you can refuse, or turn it off later in iOS Settings or in the app's own Audio settings.
When it is in use, audio is passed straight to the emulated console and is processed entirely on your device. It is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere.
You can record a short clip of your gameplay from the pause menu. Recording is done by iOS itself (ReplayKit), without the microphone, and when you stop it iOS shows you a preview where you decide whether to save it to your photo library, share it, or discard it. eNDS only asks for permission to add to your photo library at that moment, and it never reads or browses your photos.
If you choose a photo as a custom background, the system photo picker hands eNDS just that one image, which is copied into the app's own storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
eNDS PRO is an optional in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Payments, billing details and subscription status are processed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see, receive or store your payment information. The app only ever learns whether a valid purchase exists for your Apple Account, which is what unlocks the PRO features.
Because eNDS is distributed on the App Store, Apple provides developers with aggregated, anonymous statistics — things like how many people downloaded the app in a country, or how many crashes occurred. These come from Apple, cannot be traced back to an individual, and are not something the app itself gathers or sends.
eNDS is not directed at children specifically, and because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either.
This site is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It has no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. As with any web host, GitHub's servers may log basic technical information such as IP addresses in order to serve the pages; that logging is GitHub's, governed by GitHub's privacy statement, and we neither receive nor have access to it.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how the app handles your information will also be described in the app's release notes.
Questions about this policy, or about anything else in eNDS: send an email.
